The Moderate Active Blend Enrollment Year Portfolios are intended for those who prefer to invest in a portfolio that invests in a mixture of actively managed and index mutual funds across a mix of equity, real estate, fixed income, and bank deposits. There are two sets of Active Blend Passive Enrollment Year Portfolios that are distinguished by their relative risk levels: Aggressive Active Blend Enrollment Year Portfolios and Moderate Active Blend Enrollment Year Portfolios. Each Moderate Active Blend Enrollment Year Portfolio allocates more assets to fixed income and bank deposits than the Aggressive Active Blend Enrollment Year Portfolio with corresponding enrollment years.
Risk level
Asset allocation shifts from equity-based to fixed income-/cash-based as the beneficiary approaches enrollment.
