Investment objective

The Vanguard Real Estate Index 529 Portfolio seeks to provide a high level of income and moderate long-term capital appreciation.


Investment strategy

This Investment Portfolio invests 100% of its assets in a fund that mainly invests in the stocks of large, mid-size and small U.S. companies within the real estate sector. The fund is considered to be an “index fund,” meaning that the fund attempts to track a benchmark index.
